Anyways, I do have some photos of a rest day excursion to Kentucky's High Point last month. It was about a 2 hour drive (one way) from our cabin on Kentucky back roads so it was a journey for sure. Luckily, it was super rainy so it was something to do while the rain poured down.
The high point was a on a pretty big hill for SE standards but of course, there was no hiking involved. Weird to have a high point and no hike but whatever.
Needless to say, the kids were not so impressed. I'm sure it is very confusing to a two year old to one day get in the car and get out at a park, our cabin, a restaurant, Grandma & Grandpa's house or even Disney World and THEN, to get out of the car after a windy 2 hour drive to see nothing but this:
