Erin Cobb - Thank You

The Anderson's: Mike Lucas, Janelle & Axel.
I just have to share these beautiful photos with you. As I've mentioned before, Erin is an amazing photographer, who recently did a fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. She held mini photo sessions and raised $2000 in Ally's honor and we were able to take home some beautiful photos.

You can check out her business website here, her business blog here and her adorable family here.

Enjoy!

Axel is now 1 1/2 years old.
Lucas is 4 3/4 years old.
Thank you Erin, we love them!

Tennessee Tour

We headed down to Knoxville, TN for a weekend to meet up with my parents who were in town for a conference. Grandma J was on a mission to get as many National Parks Stamps as possible so we jumped right in on her tour.

Highlights: Cumberland Gap cave tour & town walk, Andrew Johnson's house, Gatlinburg hotel pool & slide, ice cream & trolley ride, pancake breakfast, Big South Fork, playing tag, laughs, hugs, snuggles and lots of love.
Cave Entrance. Kids under 5 were not allowed so Mike and I headed in while Grandma & Grandpa got reacquainted with the boys.
Definitely worth the tour, it was a pretty impressive cave.
Time with Grandma & Grandpa.
We sure have missed you!
Axel doesn't miss a dandelion picking opportunity.
Grandpa knows just how to handle this little handful. :)
Love this!
What happens to a camera after being in a 50 degree cave and then turned on in a hot, humid climate.
Axel teasing Grandma with the keys.
In the olden days...
Andrew Johnson house.
Pool time. (Way more pool photos coming soon!)Trolley ride + ice cream shop = 2+ hours. We had no idea it would take so long but on a busy Saturday night in Gatlinburg, patience is needed! We had fun but had some tired boys by the time we returned to the hotel.
Rare moment of Lucas looking at the camera and actually smiling.
The crew!
I was trying to show Lucas how cool the taffy mixer was. He didn't care. Thanks Grandpa for humoring me. :)
Water fountain with fire on top.
Ice cream, of course!
Our last stop was the Big South Fork right on the border of KY & TN. The visitor center had a cute paw print sandbox the boys loved.
After driving from Gatlinburg through all the traffic and then having Axel scream the last 30 minutes, we were "all done" with our tour. We said our good byes to Grandma & Grandpa and took a quick dip in the river before heading home. It was a wonderful visit and so nice to spend time together.
We love and miss you Grandma & Grandpa Jakulewicz! Thanks for such a special visit.

Anderson Adventures

Here are some photos from Grandma & Grandpa Anderson's visit. We had a wonderful time with them and miss them already. Some of the highlights include: Air Force Museum IMAX movie, margaritas at The Greene in the middle of a thunderstorm, a trip to King's Island amusement park, a weekend get-a-way to our cabin in Kentucky, ice cream, volcanos, fishing, bike rides, relaxing, laughing, cuddling and enjoying time together.

We have a sleeper...
and a tag-a-long.
Hi Grandma. :)
Axel was not too sure about the unpredictability of the water fountains.
Nervous?!?!
Hanging out on the sidelines emptying Mommy's purse was much more interesting.
Thunderstorm dinner.
King's Island
Brothers.
Arcade while waiting for the roller coaster riders to return.
Serious business.
Comfy cabin.
Really comfy...right Grandpa?
Dinner time.
Ice cream...of course!
Intense...notice the half eaten cone? Axel likes to start from the bottom and work his way up.
Fingers or tongue?
Breakfast at Cracker Barrel...Thank You Grandma!
Volcano time.
Itty-bitty volcano that is.
More photos highlights from Grandma & Grandpa's camera coming soon.
We miss you guys!
