Some Easter Cuteness!

We headed to our cabin for Easter weekend to spend time with friends and do a little climbing. The flowers and butterflies have exploded. What a beautiful sign of Easter!
addy found a toad for the boys. They weren't too sure about him at first but after some quick introductions they warmed up to him.
I have to say, he was a very patient toad!
We had a little Easter surprise running into our friend, Jess. THE BOYS LOVE JESS!!!
Giddy smile when he saw her.
The rest of these photos explain the love...My little charmer!Back at the cabin we made sweet pork tacos with HOMEMADE FLOUR TORTILLAS! They were awesome. I was busy cooking tortillas so there are no photos of our delicious dinner. We did have some tasty microwave s'mores fore dessert!
In the morning, the first thing out of Lucas was, "HAPPY EASTER!" He was so excited to see what the Easter Bunny had left him. Axel was tired but amazed that his Easter Basket was full.
It didn't take long for both of them to realize that it was going to be a great day.
Lucas found a Leapster game from G&G J that made his day.
Axel quickly spotted the trains.
Then it was on to the egg hunt. Due to a weekend full of rain, the egg hunt was inside the cabin again this year.
Lots of eggs this year! Lucas kept saying, "That silly Easter Bunny, he's so silly this year!"
It was a good Easter.
Fred and Heather were visiting too.
Cozy cabin!
We came home early and took a big family bike ride to downtown Dayton in between rain storms. It was so much fun. We even found a fun park for the boys to run off their extra energy...I mean candy.

After dinner, it was back to the Easter basket.Axel found a Creme Egg...a BIG one!
He was a little overwhelmed but pressed on.
This was hard work!
That's my boy!
A who couldn't resist a face like this?
Happy Easter!

A Few More...

Here are a few more photos from our recent trip to Colorado/Wyoming.

Grandma bought Lucas a really cool kit about electricity. Lucas was so excited to get started but he insisted that Grandpa had to be there because he's the electricity expert! Grandpa was so patient and so was Lucas. They read all the instructions and followed each experiment perfectly. It was adorable to watch. :) Thank you Grandpa and Grandma too!
Using lemons to turn on a tiny little light. It's a really cool kit!
Grandma checking things out too.
Daddy came over to check out progress knowing that his turn would be coming soon at home in Dayton.
Axel kept busy with dessert. This boy can take some BIG bites, doesn't matter how much is on the utensil either.
Back in Lander, our sweet hotel room with a "touch" of Wyoming decor!
Big stuff. Little did I know that taking off clothes would quickly turn into taking off our diaper ALL THE TIME at home. I think it's time for potty training.
Here's an example of the snow that moved in and out of the area during the day. Sunny and then this...
Waiting for the sun.
This is pretty common for Lucas, he's updating his superhero power book. We are getting close to having 100 powers. Watch out world!
I'm sure we will dig up more photos. :)
