Kentucky High Point

Yes, we are back home. I have yet to download our photos from Colorado but I will get to that soon. Probably not today because the weather is gorgeous!

Anyways, I do have some photos of a rest day excursion to Kentucky's High Point last month. It was about a 2 hour drive (one way) from our cabin on Kentucky back roads so it was a journey for sure. Luckily, it was super rainy so it was something to do while the rain poured down.

The high point was a on a pretty big hill for SE standards but of course, there was no hiking involved. Weird to have a high point and no hike but whatever.

Needless to say, the kids were not so impressed. I'm sure it is very confusing to a two year old to one day get in the car and get out at a park, our cabin, a restaurant, Grandma & Grandpa's house or even Disney World and THEN, to get out of the car after a windy 2 hour drive to see nothing but this:
Horror to a two year old! I'm sure he was thinking...we drove that far this???Axel WAS NOT IMPRESSED!Check out this face!
Even more enthusiasm from the whole family!
There you have it, Kentucky's High Point!
