After a two day drive and a wonderful evening spent in Hays, KS, we arrived at Grandma & Grandpa J's house in Colorado. We had two very excited boys on our hands and we were all happy to be out of the car.
Lucas was very excited to find out that there were a few extra birthday presents headed his way. Axel was too! :)
Axel really was just interested in the camera.
A big thanks for his new Operation Game and Star Wars puzzles.
We headed to Sweats Zoo which is a neat little place near Fort Collins. An artist built hundreds of sculptures using old car parts. This was one of my favorites but the boys really liked the dinosaurs, bugs and the worry well...a well you dump all your worries into so you're only left with happiness. :)
Axel & Grandpa.
We also rode the little train in Loveland, CO. This was very exciting for Axel as you can see him anxiously waiting to go.
Two tired out boys. :)
Lucas and a new science kit. For all you moms out there with a 5 year old, these will buy you some time. They are super easy and lots of fun.
Uncle Micah even brought a birthday gift. Thanks for the cool Star Wars Transformer, it came in handy on the long trip home.
Daddy, Grandma, Aunt Kate & Uncle Mark made it up for a BBQ. It was so much fun to spend time with everyone.
Dani (Micah's girlfriend who we love), Grandpa J, Uncle Micah, Axel & Lucas were there too.
Phew, I did it so now I'm back on the blogging bandwagon!
So much more to come...
