We are usually climbing during Easter and at our cabin in Kentucky. However, with the hot spring and our upcoming summer plans, we had an early climbing season. What all this means, we were actually home for Easter with lots of free time. I researched all the local events and decided it would be a perfect chance to see what festivities we like and will want to make priorities next year.
The first one was the Niceville, Fl city egg hunt. I was extremely impressed with the organization and the numerous age group categories available. Axel was in the 3-4 year old group while Lucas and his friend were in the 5-6 year old group. The had fun prizes in the egg and not just all candy. The boys had a blast!
We were ready!
Axel was too, planning out his strategy.
Checking out his loot!
He was ecstatic!
After the hunt, we met back up with Lucas to see all our new treats. I love this photo!
Then, we were off to Destin to hit the Easter Explosion at Baytowne Wharf. The inflatables were a HUGE hit. I was excited that everything was FREE!
This slide was steep!
We used up lost of energy in the bouncy house too.
Lucas even ran into a classmate.
