Invention

A few days ago, I went to the commissary for groceries with Lucas & Axel. Lucas sang Jingle Bells at the top of his lungs the entire shopping excursion. I've never seen so many smiles as I did that day! Axel was half frightened but occupied too.

On the way home, I handed Axel his pacifier and told him, "That's all you get for now." Lucas quickly asked what I meant by that. So, I explained that I would have to wait to get home before I could feed him lunch.

Lucas responded, "Mommy, why don't we go to Home Depot and get a hose pipe that you can stick to your nickle (nipple) and feed Axel while we are driving?"

Not a bad idea Lucas, keep that mind thinking!

We proceeded to discuss the whole subject on inventions. Today he asked me, "What was that word again about the feeding pipe for Axel and why haven't you made it yet?

Love that boy!
