Happy New Years!

I made it through all my Christmas photos only to realize that January is halfway over. No worries, we've been as busy as ever with school, cold day crafts, snow sledding and two trips to Tennessee for some bouldering and visiting friends. This year is off to a great start!

Today's post will be all about New Years!

Thanks to the Lasear Family, we not only had a place to stay in Chattanooga, but a super fun New Year's Eve party to attend and a whole family tour guide to some local sights. We started out at the Tennessee Aquarium which is a MUST SEE if you are in town. Lucas and Layton loved the scuba diver more than the fish! This is such a beautiful aquarium, we will definitely be going back!
Then it was back to the Laesar's house to get ready for 20 party peeps to arrive...mostly ranging from age 8 months to 10 years old. Super fun kiddo New Years Eve Party including make-your-own pizza and decorate your own cookie activities!

Pizza time for Mel.
Part of the gang...they were spread out everywhere!
Monkey see....monkey do!
Mama Monkey out-smarted the little monkeys for a good photo. HA!
Lots of cool toys to check out too.
Luke & Kestrel...party animals!
The best part...COOKIES!!
What an adorable couple! :)
New years day was spent at Little Rock City for some bouldering. It was a little chilly but the sun made it doable for sure. Layton in the background climbing with Luke while Mel & Kestrel soak up some rays.Lucas spends most of his time running around with Layton exploring the rock tunnels, collecting acorns and finding golf balls. However, sometimes he really gets into the climbing aspect which makes Daddy's heart smile. Mommy's too! :)This sweet boy makes my heart smile all the time! What a ham!
Daddy found a fun little cave-like area to climb in which became the boys fort...no girls allowed according to Lucas.

Here Daddy is "sending" his boulder problem...so strong!!The boys club!
The leader....Mr. Lucas Danger who is 4 1/2 going on 15?!
Self portrait!
Don't forget the trip to see the Chickamauga Battlefield sight and get our National Parks Passport stamp! Grandma J will be soooo proud!
Cool watch tower near the battlefield.
Here's to another great year together with my amazing husband and beautiful baby and not-so baby boys. I am so fortunate to have such a wonderful family to share my life with. Family & friends, thank you for everything. We love and appreciate you all! Happy New Year!
